Mimicry is both voluntary and involuntary, humanity both symptom and cause. Who are the mimes that dispense medication to mimes that cry?
"There always exists potential to deliver more than a kiss..."
In my dream, I'd fallen into a puddle during the rain, a fairy woke me up, and carried me to the curb, laying me down on a wet bed of flowers. I held my finger out to her as if to see if she was real, and she held my hand without saying a word. I stared at the rain falling in the street, and fell into a trance at the many circles it created. I asked the fairy why the rain was creating circles, and she smiled before pointing across the street, to the other curb, and he was there laying also in a bed of flowers. Laura Lynn Vala

“She turned, and saw a great white moon looking at her over the hill. And her breast opened to it, she was cleaved like a transparent jewel to its light. She stood filled with the full moon, offering herself. Her two breasts opened to make way for it, her body opened wide like a quivering anemone, a soft, dilated invitation touched by the moon.” ― D.H. Lawrence
“The secret island had looked mysterious enough on the night they had seen it before - but now, swimming in the hot June haze, it seemed more enchanting than ever. As they drew near to it, and saw the willow trees that bent over the water-edge and heard the sharp call of moorhens that scuttled off, the children gazed in delight. Nothing but trees and birds and little wild animals. Oh, what a secret island, all for their very own, to live on and play on.” ― Enid Blyton, The Secret Island
“Here, when I say I never want to be without you, somewhere else I am saying I never want to be without you again. And when I touch you in each of the places we meet, in all of the lives we are, it's with hands that are dying and resurrected. When I don't touch you it's a mistake in any life, in each place and forever” ― Bob Hicok

“My soul is a hidden orchestra; I know not what instruments, what fiddlestrings and harps, drums and tamboura I sound and clash inside myself. All I hear is the symphony.” ― Fernando Pessoa
“You can live for a long time inside the shell you were born in. But one day it'll become too small." "Then what?" I ask. "Well, then you'll have to find a larger shell to live in." I consider this for a moment. "What if it's too small but you still want to live there?" She sighs. "Gracious, child, what a question. I suppose you'll either have to be brave and find a new home or you'll have to live inside a broken shell.” ― Christina Baker Kline
