The Hardest Thing To Find…

If you didn’t know any better
You’d think it aimless
Watching it move
Further and further away

If you didn’t know any better
You’d follow it
Realizing it wasn’t meant
To be restrained

If you didn’t know any better
You’d reach out
Marveling at feeling
What couldn’t be touched

If you didn’t know any better
You’d travel the world
Timing your footsteps
To the songs of each season

Did you travel as far as me?

Did you find like me, that the scents and sounds between dusk and dawn were the same color of winter in every book store and coffee shop that others called hometown?

I didn’t know
Nature traveled
With such purpose
Only to return unchanged

I didn’t know
Until finding you
That Love travels
With such purpose

I didn’t know
The hardest
Thing to find
Would be you

Did you know that Love could remain unchanged after every season?

The hardest thing to find has been the easiest to Love, and return to once again.
