They always answer in the obvious
The kids
This is why I ask

The obvious is what I miss

Shadows, lines, nor the hint of nature
In the background was what I saw

A couch, pillows, light, nakedness
Eyes closed, mouth open, and holding onto
To the table and screaming for more

Is the only vision that came to mind

I ask what they see that I might know
The purity of a child separate from
The purity of carnal desire

There is something in not knowing
That feels dirty, just as something in
Desire feels clean

I miss making love

I ask children what they see
Because what is seen and
What is known
Are similar interpretations of

Spoken in hybrid languages
Comprised of understanding and

It helps to know the
Variance between
Sight and vision

To find clarity about
To place focus
